Room clean staff was extremely nice the breakfast was delicious and the amenities were awesome. The only downside was some kids that kept bouncing around in the room above mine and some guests were loud at the fire pit after hours.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast served was really good food.The guy and his dog picking up goose poo on the lake front was a a nod to the lets keep the beach clean for our guests. But, people feeding the gulls and kids throwing rocks and harassing the gulls and geese should NOT be tolerated at all.That was the most disappointing experience of our stay.

The room was adequate with a nice balcony overlooking the water. Bathroom was good but nothing fancy. Indoor and outdoor pools were well maintained. Breakfast was good. Minimal equipment in the gym. Our AC was marginally working the first night but they fixed it immediately. Nice shuttle to Shepler’s for the fairy to Makinaw Island.

This hotel was on the water, had great amenities, and you can see the marina from many of the rooms, so watching the drone show and fireworks is as easy as walking to your balcony/patio. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, check in was easy, rooms were clean and quiet. Next time hopefully we will stay when it is warmer and we'll be able to take advantage of the pool and hot tub, but it looked clean and nice! Plus you can literally swim outside while looking at the straits/Lake Huron, which is so cool. Highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel room. Very spacious with balcony on first floor and able to walkout to the lake. They offered a campfire every night with s’mores. Really a great experience. We do with they offered bacon for breakfast. It was only sausage all week. Otherwise, it was a very good experience.

The staff were so kind and helpful. We had a room right on the lake. It was clean and accommodating. If you are a coffee person, it's a small keurig for one cup at a time - not a pot. The only downside is that we couldn't really enjoy the balcony outside because of all the "midgies." But we did enjoy the beautiful view of Mackinac Island from the sitting chair inside.
