"Staff friendly and competent. OK breakfast. Diner was fine. We could not quite understand the high rating this hotel got. Forest themed, the decoration was sad, a bit outdated and worn. The mattresses were thin and not particularly comfortable. Our view of the forest was to a rain drenched copse strewn with beer cans and a tissue (I hope unused). Perfectly adequate, but overrated.

Leider sind die Zimmer, wir hatten ein Apartment, in die Jahre gekommen und müssten dringend renoviert und zeitgemäß eingerichtet werden. If you are over 4' 6" tall (125cm?) (I do not exaggerate) you will certainly suffer a painful bump on the head. Also, there is no AC: it was very uncomfortably hot and stuffy. And this is not a full service hotel. For example, if there is a problem in the corridor in the middle of the night (as there was)...
