“The blanket was yellow and stained with blood. It was disgusting. It's right next to the road so it's noisy in the morning and I can't sleep.”

“The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well appointed with plenty of light and a window that opened. Great shower and big bath towels. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. We loved the grapevines wending their way along the verandah and the outdoor rooms. There are plenty of wonderful walks close by and it's a delightful and easy stroll into town along the Rotary path.”

“Hotel itself is an older building but has had some work done. Our deluxe king room with balcony/patio (all ground level rooms) was spacious & clean with large separate bathroom. With nice weather took advantage to sit outside and enjoy. On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend.”

“It was ok, room door faced a service station opposite which felt a little exposed, bed was comfortable, bedding clean but the bathroom was so run down and in need of a refresh that I didn’t want to use the shower as the base looked grotty. Don’t believe the pictures online!”

“Perfect motel. Only one tiny note and this is more of a heads up rather than an issue - the outlets are hard to get to from the bed. So keep in mind you’ll have to sleep with your phone away from you if you charge it overnight. And apparently you shpuld be anyway! Haha. So just a note for those who wanna know ;)”
