"The room we stayed in was a family room; unfortunately although it was exceptionally clean, it was very dated. The lobbies showed a desperate need of TLC. The fire doors had holes in which is a serious issue if a fire were to happen. It seems that half of the hotel was refurbished and our half was not. For three adults and two children, our room was very small and felt at points overcrowded. It would have been a more pleasant experience had we stayed in a more updated and larger room. The pictures advertised were very misleading for the money we paid out. A positive was the children's entertainment and my grandchildren throughly enjoyed the children's entertainer and the magic show."

"Room was filthy stains on bedding stains on side boards mould in shower Tv didn't work when first arrived was half fixed by staff but had to keep messing with it myself at night as no staff around Front of draw was hanging off staff came and fixed Room was freezing no heating what so ever in Room when asked staff about heating told me it was automatic never came on once in Room during weekend Was in a family room that had to walk through people eating in restaurant to get to No entertainment what so ever One member of staff doing reception and bar"

"The reviews I've seen about this hotel are not true, Place was spotless, hotel is very well maintained including outside area. Lady who was on desk when we checked in was so lovely! She made us feel very welcome. Ideal location in city center. 5 mins to promenade, Tower and sea front attractions. 10 mins walk to North train station. I have no complaints what so ever, I would definitely recommend and I'll be staying here again wen I'm at Blackpool next 👌"

Thankfully, those issues have been sorted and we had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and fantastic value for money. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Room is small, was pleased to have view of the pier, until I tried opening the weird single glazed patio door thing. The whole thing almost fell out of its fittings. Blood stains on the mattress, long dark hair in the bed. Dried mud over the carpet. Masking tape to stick the wrongly sized curtain (too small) to the wall to stop light coming through. Thankfully hadn’t booked a breakfast. I understand it is continental only and not a cooked one. Best thing about the venue is the location."
