“Very clean, host was accommodating, very nice stay”

“The only elevator was out of service so was ice maker on first floor. Only ice on third floor. Room needs upgrades. Toilets too low tile cracking. Cushion on bench peeling and small tv. Was clean and the was very helpful and nice.”

“This motel is in a great location for walking around Bryson City. The staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful. Our room was good with enough space to move around and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was relatively updated but kind of small and I can't imagine a larger person being able to get into the shower. And there was no way to just have the light on without the noisy fan. All in all though it was a good affordable place to stay while we explored the area.”

“Cabin floor dirty - used a-tips, Bobby pins, etc on floor which tells us floor was not cleaned; trails are not easily accessible; felt restaurant food was priced too high. ”

“I got checked in no running water at all room i way way outdated went to call front desk and no phone, the line to phone was cut in half the sinks were so cloged and gross and list goes on wouldn't recommend to anyone. ”

“Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. ”

“Size of Lil House perfect for the two of us. Very clean and inviting. We were greeted by the owner upon our arrival, he extended himself if we needed anything while we were there.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend ”

“We had a wonderful stay at big sky yurts. Definitely recommend staying here and experiencing nature. It had everything you could need. Love the location, super close to the white water, rafting, zip lining and several nearby restaurants.”

“Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!”
