"Check in took a while as reception was dealing with awkward customer on the phone. Room spacious and clean with ample power and usb points. Good shower. Reasonable menu although it seemed more limited than last year so when staying 4 nights this may be an issue. That being said plenty of other dining options within walking distance. Ample parking."

"The hotel was well located and check-in was easy enough in the pub next door, if a little slow. The location was quiet too. We were above the main entrance to the hotel and did have the noise and vibration of the door shutting but it wasn't that bad. It is within walking distance of shopping centres and supermarkets which was really convenient. There was plenty of free parking. It felt secure as the access was locked anyone without a room key. "Our stay was lovely and relaxing the wee Pods are great for overnight stays they have been well planned out with all the amenities you need the only suggestion I would have is maybe like a mini fridge but only if your were planning a longer stay. Food was delicious and great choice on menu. Breakfast was great too many choices for everyones dietary needs. "Overall the hotel was good, the room was smaller than expected, the beds were very comfortable, but the bathroom is very cramped. The bar/restaurant below is great. Best breakfast, good drinks, friendly staff. "

"The stay as a whole was very pleasant. The room, clean, the decor, very nice. My only 'gripe', is that the water pressure for the shower was terrible. I felt I had to run around in the shower to get wet. It was little more than a dribble and I felt I had to stand with my nose against the wall to get under the water. I took ages to have a wash!"
