Good location for leisure trips to theme park and Trentham gardens food was good value and tasty on the downside rooms need some TLC but must praise the staff really look after you 😀

Rooms are very worn and tired. Could really do with an upgrade or refurbishment. Have stayed there a few times over the years due to its convenient location to family, but it has really declined done i was last there.

Nice hotel, dated rooms but vetu comfortable. Staff were very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for housekeeping. We would definitely return.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now mainly for visiting alton towers as its only a 25 min drive. Whilst the location is great, the convenience of a pub restaurant on the premises, a mcdonalds across the car park and a tesco over the road with petrol station is really handy the condition of the fixtures and fittings as well as some of the cleanliness is not so good. Really needs a good refurb and bringing up to date.

We stayed for 2 nights as it was close to Alton Towers. Hotel itself was quite dated and the bedside tables were ancient and well used but the hotel was really clean and the staff and service was fantastic, I would definitely stay here again x

The accommodation is in dyer need of an update, decorating etc. The toilet in our room was running all night. All the furniture had gone well past its best. The bar/restaurant was however clean and tidy. Breakfast was also good.

Budget Hotel Stay

Overnight business stay. Hotel decor, rooms and bathrooms are looking and fell very dated. Generally clean, but should definitely be a budget price hotel.

Decent location, shame the people above us at 3.30am thought running around there room was ok till 7am. Rooms could do with some tlc but all in all good value for money

Staff friendly, location convenient, and reasonably priced. However, bathroom very tired, furniture very old - all in all, just in need of a refresh.

mostly positive stay at this hotel. Although parking was quite tight, I managed to find a space without too much trouble. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room was clean, tidy, and free of any odours. The shower was a highlight—powerful with impressively hot water. My only real complaint is that the floors were extremely creaky throughout the building, which could be a bit distracting.

Very dated and ruff around the edges, beds etc were very clean and comfortable but bathroom and ceilings etc were black and holes in the room door. Was on the ground floor and had to put earphones in to drown out walking about from above. On the plus side it was only 15mins from Alton Towers and the restaurant food was good and in much better conditon than the hotel area. The staff were all very friendly. I just had a 1 night stay with my 10 year old and would probably try elsewhere next time unfortunately.
