Upon arrival we had to wait about 5 minutes for a receptionist to appear. We were given room 4, supposedly one of their better units. We had 2 beds with mattresses that you sink into so not everybody's liking. The chairs look good, however, sitting in them they were definitely not. In the bathroom yes very clean but there was paint peeling from the walls and ceiling. I did meet the owners and I believe he did his best to accommodate us. You get what you pay for and our next time in Stratford we will spend an addition $100. for better accommodations.

We booked the Traveller's for one night to attend a Festival show. We took a chance and hoped for the best. What we discovered was a GEM of a place. Our double bed room was perfectly spotless and well decorated with a sitting area with two living room chairs and a sofa with a large coffee table. The bathroom was spotless. A perfect comfortable oasis. We will definitely choose the Traveller's for our next theatre visit.

A comfortable place to spend the night. Very good value. Nothing fancy, but obvious they are putting effort into the upkeep. Climate control was excellent. The curtains allowed much natural light to pass through without compromising privacy. Will consider it again in the future.

The room was clean. The kitchenette and bathroom counters were spacious and attractive. Unfortunately, the taps didn't really have cold water. I appreciated that the fridge had a freezer section and had two bottles of water since we couldn't get cold water from the taps. There were a few loose and wobbly bathroom floor tiles that tilted under foot - right in front of the toilet and tub. Blackout curtains would be helpful to block out the bright outdoor spotlights.

Lovely staff, good price, and spacious + comfortable room, but must note that there were a couple bugs (not bedbugs, but possibly cockroaches) and only one of four outlets worked, leaving 2 of us without charged phones the next day. Would stay again, but with portable batteries and possibly bug spray, lol.

The proprietor and the lady that does the room cleaning where very helpful. The room was clean and well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. This is an old motel - probably dating from the 1950's or 1960's. The rooms have all been updated but the larger fabric of the motel is in need of more maintenance investment. As a place to stay for a few days taking in the Stratford theatres, its fine and a good price.

Staff were very pleasant and eager to help when I broke a couple of my own plates when I was preparing our lunch. They cleaned us up right away and provided some paper plates so we could carry on.

The room was clean but in need of some updating. The drapes are very see thru and let in way too much light at night. There was a crack in the ceiling in the shower. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointing stay at Travelers Motel We arrived and our room wasn’t ready, so we had to be moved to a different room. Not a great start. The room smelled bad and looked very outdated. Outside the rooms there was a can full of cigarette butts, which made the property look dirty and not well-kept. Only 2 pillows were provided. The beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable. Wi-Fi wasn’t provided at check-in — we had to ask for it. And even then it was terrible, it kept freezing every few seconds and was basically unusable. Overall the service felt unorganized and not up to standard. We expected much better.

The motel has been around for a while, so it could use a little exterior TLC. The room had new A/C mini-split. It worked great. The beds were comfy. The bathroom has been updated. A great shower with lots of hot water. At this price point, we were pleasantly surprised.
