"This hotel is nothing short of excellent. It was very affordable. Our room was huge and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and so helpful with everything. We were not far from restaurants, shopping and a mini mart. I’d come back to Quito just to stay here."

"We chose Illa Experience as our base in Ecuador and are so glad we did! We just completed our first stay (out of three) and are already looking forward to returning. It feels like a safe space in the beautiful old town of Quito with the most attentive staff. Really feels like home away from home! "

"A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too.
Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff.
Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit."
