“We were in cottage #130 which was in the back with no one to the left of us. Very sweet room. Had everything we needed. Nice hot breakfast, too. The motel is across the street from the Soo Locks so easy to tour them. It’s on a busy street with lots of nice shops but by bedtime things were settled down. We really enjoyed our meal at the Lockview restaurant next door, too! We recommend staying here. Thanks all!!”

“The retro style of the Last Resort really appealed to us. Very spacious rooms and comfy beds. The office was super helpful when we left an expensive item behind. Mike called us and we made arrangements to get it back. You don’t get that kind of service and attention from a big chain. It would have been nice to have in room coffee makers, but there was morning coffee available in the office so we made it work. All in all a great experience!”

“The room was clean, new towels every day, but not tidied up at all. No new cups or clean ice bucket bag, no new soap until last day. Little things go a long way.”
