“We have stayed at the Lockview a few times in the past which brought us back. The Lockview has changed over the years, adding small cabins, a new sign, and improved morning breakfast area. Unfortunately, we stayed on the second floor in the original motel. The curtains had multiple holes in them, the towel I used was ripped, the bathtub was horribly stained yellow and actually dirty looking. There are cleaning products to take care of that. With this said, we will not stay again.”

“The rooms were clean, the bed was super comfy & the shower was hot! I would definitely stay here again. The only issue I had, was our curtains cover the ac unit. I just tucked them up. I would recommend this place over and over again!”

“The hotel has gone way downhill since my last stay years ago. It used to be the nicest place to stay in the area. It is now mainly used for Gov employees who are working on the new lock and DNR officers. A/c did not work in our room and the central air unit wouldn’t shut off. We had to open the windows because it was so hot in there. I would think twice about staying here as a visitor/tourist.”

“We had stayed at this particular location multiple times in the past. I don’t know if we just got a smaller room this time or things have gone downhill more than I had initially thought. I did ask about the Owners because I know they did the cleaning themselves and maintained the property. However, I was told the property was sold two or three years ago…. I can’t remember to the new owners. Honestly, for the price, I could’ve stayed somewhere else that wasn’t as old, dark and dingy. The bathroom...
