Good location and excellent breakfast

Hotel Tappi is an outstanding place to stay to relax and enjoy the scenic view of the ocean bay. Superb food choice for dinner. The Japanese onsen was great and relaxing for a stress-free stay. My family and I plan on coming again next year to stay and enjoy the surrounding area.

After a few busy days in Tokyo, it was a nice change of pace to be in Hakodate. The hotel is in a great location that’s walking distance from the train station. And also to the brick warehouse shopping area and fish market. We also used the onsen at the hotel. It’s included in your stay. It was our very first time for our family. We didn’t know there was a little tote bag we could take up with us to the onsen. Also remember to bring a towel from your room. I wanted to book a massage but it was fully booked. You have to pay separately for the massage. Rates were very reasonable. Plan ahead next time. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was excellent. They are famous for the seafood parfait with ikura, shrimp, salmon, tuna. There’s also Wagyu too at the breakfast. Definitely worth it for around $23 usd per person. We would definitely come back again.
