“Asygarth Hotel is an amazing, the bar and amenties are furnished to a high standard. The rooms are clean and well designed. The staff, and there is plenty of them are all welcoming and amenable. We had an evening meal in Palmers restrurant and breakfast too and both were delicious... We really enjoyed our stay”

“The staff at the Kings Head is outstanding! The hotel is in a great location. We had a wonderful room that has a very spacious bathroom (it was the Richmond room). The mattress and pillows could do with a replacement. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and you don’t need to leave to hotel for great fish and chips. The seating area in the lobby and bar was very welcoming and relaxing. ”

“This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
