“Owner was awesome , place was great . A lot of history , well maintained !! Food was awesome ! A quiet historic place with laid back owners , comfortable , accommodating place ! Would go back for sure !Love Leroy your dog ! ”

“Room was clean. Never saw any staff. Power was out due to storm for most of our stay. Generator power was used and was sufficient. Could not use tv until final day. Did speak on phone to staff but was not able to resolve. This could have been due to storm. No one ever resupplied our room after first night with coffee, creamer etc. We did go into the common room for more creamer ourselves.”

“Loved everything about this hotel. Check in was pleasant and James gave suggestions on where to grab a cocktail in town. Also enjoyed the fresh baked cookies. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was far above average with Nantucket pie and cream cheese filled pancakes as options to choose from. Everything in town was easily walkable and Acadia National Park is a very short drive away. ”

“I don't recommend this hotel never. The reception women wasn't nice, and my wife and I couldn't sleep well because my room is loud noise of my door next front door . There is a most upsetting situation. And I was very cold in sleep because the heating didn't work at all night. The heating regulator did not work. It was 2am that I founded that the heating didn't work. I caught a runny nose next day and my trip was interrupted. I never recommend this hotel.”
