“I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The option to request both breakfast and dinner was convenient, and the meals were quite good. I also watched a Champions League match during my stay, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a great experienc.”

“The Royal Oak is outstanding in every respect. If you're staying a night, its facilities are unusually generous and extensive; if you're eating, the menu and the food are great; and if you just want a drink, there's a bar area and plenty of seating outside. The staff are lovely. Plus there's plenty of local information, books, games and events, not to mention a farm shop. If you can tear yourself away, visit Wayland's Smithy a couple of miles away along the Ridgeway.”

“Lovely B&B, we really enjoyed staying over in Bibury… a very quiet little parish - but nice to be able to spend the day & enjoy both of the pubs. The B&B was ideal, much cheaper than staying at the Swan & only a few minutes walk into the ‘town’. Yes it was a little noisy, as has been mentioned before, but not really anymore than staying in a hotel I’d imagine + earplugs are provided if upstairs are too noisy for you! “Excellent 2 night stay at the Hare and hounds. Such a lovely well presented pub and very nicely decorated rooms, Our room was named "The Flying Duck" and it was perfect. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was amaizing. Breakfast both mornings was fab and fresh Its an easy 20 minute walk into Newbury but if walkings not your thing its a short drive with lots of pay and display parking in the town centre.
