Great location, pleasant traditional rustic bar with some good ales. Rooms were dated and bathroom needed some tlc.but for our needs it was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and kept me going all day. The dinning area was rustic too, but ok for us. Would use again.

Disliked: Amenities
Staff member who showed us around breakfast facilities was very pleasant. Phoned ahead and we're told we could have the use of an iron, asked upon arrival and were assured it would be brought up to us - it wasn't. The room could do with a mirror and hairdryer. I would describe the experience as adequate for a one night stay.

Hotel very convenient for my needs and the room in the courtyard was. Quiet and clean - however nowhere to hang clothes which was surprising. Even a couple of hooks would have been welcome. Bed extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the freshly cooked to order breakfast very good. There was no food on a Monday so ate at the pub just over the road as recommended and it was delicious.
