“This was a third stay. Good hotel, within reasonable walking distance of Ross-on-Wye & well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside & towns. Great to have on-site parking. Owners are friendly & helpful. Appreciate being able to book a single room.Clearly marked emergency exits. Both rooms previously stayed in were up steep, narrow stairs. Didn't find these a problem, but vsitors with mobility difficulties would be advised to check accessibility with the owners before booking.”

“Stayed in a basic room which was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door didn't shut properly and the taps on the bath were very stiff and hard to switch on and off. The staff were very professional and the bar is large and comfortable seating”

“Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say.”

“We received a warm welcome from Kevin and given a little tour of downstairs which consisted of a breakfast room and a good size comfy sitting area, the honest bar is a nice touch. We were then shown to our room on the first floor No2 which was a good size bedroom/shower room. Breakfast is chosen the day before via a tick sheet which is on two sides so plenty of choices, on both days it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!”

“The room was very comfortable, spotless and a very good size, and the location perfect. This is a true find. Lovely accommodation and fabulous hosts! We had a perfect time. Thank you!”

“Everything was brilliant !! Would definitely recommend”

“The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her...
