“I had a really nice, peaceful stay. I lost the email with the direct contact number, so im sure the issue i had could have been solved easily, if not partly, for my own stupidity. Sadly, there was no running water & there was no gas to use the cooktop. The keys that were left didnt open the door to turn on the gas. “When i booked the property i was under the impression that the price on hotels.com was the price. We then had to pay extra for the dogs, extra for bedding and extra for electricity used. It would have been better if this was in the details of the booking before you confirm. When people are on a budget this could be hard for them. “Nice little place, great for a few nights away”

“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”
