"I recently stayed at Anachak Angkor Suite, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The main issue is that the hotel does not match what is advertised online. Many of the photos and listed features are misleading or simply not accurate. What I expected based on the listing was very different from what I actually received, which made my stay uncomfortable and frustrating. Because of this, I decided to check out early. I contacted Expedia for support, expecting a fair resolution given the discrepancy. While the support team was polite, the handling of the situation was slow and ineffective. Despite escalating the issue and clearly explaining that the property did not match its description, no proper resolution has been provided, and I was left to deal with the consequences. This raises serious concerns not only about the accuracy of this hotel’s listing but also about how customer issues are handled when something goes wrong. I would not recommend this property based on my experience, and I strongly suggest that this listing be reviewed or removed to avoid misleading future guests."

"I have two minds about this review… I wanna tell everyone how wonderful this place is, how welcoming, how calm / quiet/ peaceful /rejuvenating. on the other hand, if I tell people, it may becomes more popular, the prices go up, gets harder to get a room, etc. I searched for this hotel for many days looking at reviews, comparing amenities and options… this hotel did not disappoint.. ticking all the boxes on my list from cable TV to a five star breakfast (included). the dinner room service was excellent and fairly priced. AC, very comfortable bed, Shower was great, bathroom toilet stall was a little bit small, but not terrible. ALL the staff were excellent and understood how the heat affects outsiders. They immediately cool you off and make you comfortable, from the first five seconds, in the building. They provide all filtered water for drinking, a mini fridge with a few sodas what they call a ‘mini bar’ but there was no alcohol in it, which was not actuate with the term mini bar. I was truly hoping that there would’ve been small bottles of different alcohols and mixers. our private pool outside of our door was totally enclosed, beautiful, comfortable, fun. Hot tub not needed. It was our own little sanctuary getaway. The restaurant food was excellent. We realize that there were resident guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, and a large turtle the hangs out eating near the common areas. I would love to visit here again on my next visit through town."

"The best private hotel we ever experienced. We have been over 30 countries, Jaya house is one of the best. Everyone working in the hotel is friendly with smile on the face all the time. We have free breakfast and free massages every day. Hotel’s interior design is elegant and room is really comfortable. Two beautiful swimming pools provide us relax places after the tour in the super hot day. Hotel provides one way transportation from the airport and free tuturk service inside the city. We like everything in this hotel and love to stay here."

"The property was very quaint and peaceful. We had such a wonderful stay here and the staff was always very helpful. Although it’s a little further from the city, it’s a short tuktuk ride ($3) into town. And Angkor complex is just around the corner so we actually found the location to be perfect for us. "

"The hotel was cute and the Wi-Fi environment was excellent. However, the reason I gave the lowest rating is because of the disappointing response from the hotel staff. When I returned to my room and opened my toothbrush case in the bathroom, a cockroach came in through a gap. At that moment, I asked the hotel staff to change my room, but they refused. The staff told me they had removed the cockroach from my room, so I felt relieved. However, when I opened the bathroom trash bin, I found the cockroach inside. It seems the staff did not throw it outside but simply put it in the room’s trash bin. When I tried to discuss it further, they told me, “We don’t want to change the room for you,” so I left with a very unpleasant feeling. I understand that in Cambodia, it is natural for insects to exist. But lying to guests is a different matter. It was extremely unpleasant."

"The room was simple and clean. Very comfortable. The owner and his daughter are fantastic! Such gracious hosts! This small family run six room boutique hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes outside of the city. If you want a taste of real Cambodia, go here. We took a tuk tuk into town at least once every day and the cost is $2.50 USD. It is fairly close to Ankor Wat. "
