  • They say when you come to China there are five mountains you have to climb. This is one of the five mountains. I was quite lucky when I visited that day. I made my trip around April to May the weather there was not too cold it was around winter turning to spring. It's around that time that is perfect to visit this spot. It's too hot in summer, and freezing in winter. I literally went there during spring but by the time I reached the top, there was still snow falling. The locals said I was lucky that day, there had been a few days where it stopped snowing. I do recommend bring your own water and snacks, the food stalls on the ways up costs more than normal. It takes about six hours to climb, but they also offer bus rides up half the way, and cable cars to take you up and down the mountain. But where's the fun in that? XD

Great view

Since we were traveling with our baby, we couldn’t climb Taishan. So we wanted a nice view of the beautiful mountain during the trip, and the hotel room had what we wanted. Breakfast was below our standard—both western and Chinese didn’t meet five star level, I think. Many praised its proximity to Wanda plaza and we made it there, too. But remind that hotel is not directly connected to the shopping mall and you still need to walk outside for 4-5 min.

5泊した。 とても新しいホテルで、設備は何の問題もない。 人的サービスも高いレベルだろうと想像した。 プール、サウナ、スポーツジムがあり、ホテル内で快適に過ごせると思う。 需要があるのかわからないが、中国では珍しく、日本語の話せるスタッフがいた。 泰安駅よりも泰山駅に近い。 歩いてすぐのところに、食べ物屋などの店が立ち並び、大きなスーパーもある。 つまり、このホテル周辺が観光客向けの食品、服飾、アミューズメントなどの店が立ち並ぶ施設として作られている。 例えば、泰安駅や泰山駅周辺などは、埃っぽい、楽しめない場所と感じた。 泰山へ山登りに行くのが目的でないなら、この場所はとてもいいと思う。 建設中の高層ホテルらしきものがあり、これから周りに高層の建物が立ち並ぶ雰囲気である。 今後、方向によっては、眺望が悪くなると思う。
