屋上にある温泉からの山の眺めが最高でした。朝食も地元の食材を豊富に使ったビュッフェが良かったです。立地も古い街並みから近く、また静かな場所にあり便利でした。エアコン設備が古いせいか、室温調整がうまくできないのがちょっと残念でした。弱風にしても、温度高めに設定しても寒かったです。

Older property, well-maintained. Rooftop onsen was nice especially the view. Walkable from train station and near the tourist shopping areas.

The hotel is located around popular tourism spots, and easy to access by train and vehicle too. A receptionist was accompanied to in front of the room. It would be a good service.

Wonderful stay at Hida Hotel Plaza
It was a great stay with my family at the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and well maintained. Both Japanese and Western breakfast that came with the rooms were of high quality and variety. The location was convenient. We will consider staying at the same hotel again if we come back to the same area.

The hotel is in great location, you can walk to Takayama station within 7 mins. I really enjoy tax free shop in the hotel. Staffs are very nice.

Good hotel highly recommended
Nice hotel with onsen. Has shops inside which closes at 9:30pm. It is about 10 mins walk to old town. Hotel itself has lots to eat. Breakfast was good with lots of selections.

Ugly cheaply fitted bathroom, the hardest beds ive slept on on my trip, minimal power points for ph charging, overpriced and repetitive breakfast day after day. Would not recommend.

Amazing hotel for an amazing town. Very close to station. Beautiful Japanese style suite with all amenities. The staff were extremely helpful. The onsen innthe hotel was great, indoors and outdoors. Breakfast buffet fantastic. The shops in the hotel were very good and convenient.

Japanese style room was very large for family of 4. Had separate sleeping tatami area and tea area. Room was very warm quick was great as it got quite cold overnight. Rooftop jacuzzi we bring nice. There are also individual soaking tubs if you'd like more privacy.

Nice big rooms, near to bus/train terminals and easy access to Shirakawago. However, facilitiies advertised like swimming pool and gym are all chargeable! 3000 yen to use the gym and 1000 yen to use the swimming pool.

Very friendly staff. Manager provided pertinent advice about the weather so that we could better protect ourselves against the elements. The outdoor onsen was very nice; especially when it was snowing. The Japanese-style room was spacious and the futons very comfortable, luring us to deep slumber very quickly.

About 4 mins walk from the train station. Room was çlean and toilet/bathroom quite çlassy. The usual toiletries including hair dryer are provided. There is an electric kettle for boiling water.. It rained during the night till 8am the next morning. The only grouse I had was when I was checking out, it was wet outside. I asked the staff if they provide transport to the train station if it is raining. He replied they don't and asked if I needed a taxi. The 1 min ride would have been a plus point for the hotel's service under such weather conditions.

Hotel is dated but in a fun, retro way. Staff is extremely gracious and polite. Hotel is very clean. Easy walking distance to the historical sights of Takayama.

The hotel is close to the train station and nice walking distance to the shops and restaurants Staff were great and very helpful. Air conditioner was working great and rooms were nice and cool to come back to after hot day exploring Takayama. However the rooms are dated and bed is too hard. Hotel needs an update.

The Japanese style room was spacious and comfortable. A hotel staff who could speak mandarin, took time to explain to us the different facilities in the hotel during check in. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful. I needed to make a reservation for a restaurant in Tokyo. Despite the language barrier, she was very patient. Finally, the chinese speaking staff spotted me and came to assist without delay. With this kind of service attitude, I will surely recommend this hotel to anyone.
