โOne of the best hostels have stayed at. Very clean, modern, beautiful kitchen. Great staff. However, there are challenges if you do not have a car. The distance to the train station going into the city is really quite a walk. Taxis are not always available. So I advise you MUST make arrangements for staff to pick you up at the train station and you must make arrangements at least one day in advance. They need to arrange to have an extra person on staff in order to be able to pick you up. There...
โThe greatest retreat from the hectic streets of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. After all those cities we came to this hotel in Minakami and never wanted to leave.
We had the best time here. The people working at this hotel were always attentive and ready to help us with more than we could ask for and we hope to be back soon.โ
โThis is a lovely 'boutique hotel' in an absolutely beautiful part of the area north of Nakanojo near Lake Okushima. I wanted a truly Japanese place and I got it. Few, if any, 'foreigners' in the area. I was provided a bike and road around for 3 hours. The owner is a beautiful, kind lady and her and her staff treated me like a king. I had a room with a private hot spring pool - all I can say is "wow". If you want to see a place off the beaten track, I highly recommend this hotel.โ
โThis is a good hotel, the hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel environment is very clean and comfortable. A good choice for next time. After we checkout, the male host drive us to Naeba Ski Resort .
Thank you so much.โ
โThe home looks exactly like how it is in the photos, condition of home seems good and new. Bedrooms and toilets are at the lower floor, while the living and kitchen area are at the upper floor. The stairs may be slightly steep, but this is the standard Japanese home design. Overall stay was very comfortable, home was warm enough in the winter, space was sufficient for 3 adults. Parking was right outside the house, very convenient. โ
