"I had a great stay. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Rooftop infinity pool was perfect, and was a bonus to have all to myself, great view of the mountains and some rice fields blowing in the wind. My room also had a great view of the mountains, large windows even in the bathroom. Great location just outside of town (5 minute grab ride to town) yet very close to some attractions, was a very nice break from the chaos. Wish I stayed longer, but i just used it as a stop over before an 8 am train ride the next day. Breakfast was great, with lots of options and fresh fruit. Staff was going above and beyond to make sure I had enough to eat before my 11 hour train ride. Overall a wonderful place "

"Lovely stay, property was exactly as advertised. We loved the private pool and closeness to Hoa Lu ancient town. "

"Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side, arranging a car was easy and convenient, usually with only a 5–10 minute wait. We stayed in the family suite, which was spacious and comfortable, and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, there were a few downsides. The breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t feel entirely food-safe, which was a bit concerning. Another issue was the shower, the shower head was quite corroded and the water pressure was almost nonexistent, making it difficult to use. Overall, it was a good stay. The property itself is cool and has the essentials, but there are a few areas that could use improvement to really match the setting."

"We had 3 rooms, and each was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Staff was responsive to our questions and needs. The countryside is beautiful, there are great coffee shops near by, and other interesting things to see and do. "

"Our stay here was good. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was okay, if you didn’t get there early the food definitely wasn’t as fresh as it could be. We had a big issue with noise. There is a bar right next to the hotel which blasted music and had people screaming into microphones into midnight. We asked to switch rooms but were told it would be the same anywhere in the hotel. So beware of that. As someone who likes a quiet area, this hotel didn’t meet that expectation. But we were also there on a weekend, so maybe that was why. "
