"I truly enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel. The atmosphere was spacious and quaint, offering a peaceful retreat while still being incredibly convenient. Its location made it easy to access all parts of Kota Kinabalu, whether for sightseeing, dining, or shopping. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was smooth and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and accessibility in one place!"

"The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about the place. We just didn't want to leave. "
