It was in the other/wrong side of Taos if visiting TSV.  We had to get through town.  Morning traffic was okay because we were driving though town at 8am on sat & sun.  Evening weekend traffic getting back took a little longer.

We were interested in hiking to Wheeler Peak and Taos Ski Valley was definitely the place to stay.
