Daniella made an amazing breakfast spread every morning and was so helpful giving suggestions of places to eat and things to do around the town! Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

10/10 Excellent

"4.5/5 would be my overall score for Le Axidie Pros: Really cool and unique property. Private beach and pools make it somewhere you can really spend your day. Breakfast both buffet and a la carte menu are great, as is the drinks menu throughout the day and evening. Staff is super helpful and very responsive on Whatsapp. The view is really great and has a unique landscape. The place is like a fun maze to figure out because there are so many parts to the complex! I would definitely book again if I wanted to visit the Vico area. If you get there earlier than your room is ready, they'll hold your bags so you can make use of the property! Cons: It takes a decent amount of effort to get to Sorrento from here - you either pay ~ 80-100 EUR for a car to Sorrento, or you can take a free shuttle to a local train (Vico) that drops off in Sorrento (there are about 10 or so departure times to/from hotel and train stations). So if you want to really be in Sorrento, I'd suggest booking somewhere closer. Also, very easy to hear into other rooms, particularly chairs and drawers moving. I could hear when my neighbors came and went (I'm pretty noise sensitive - this wouldn't deter me from booking again, but on weekend nights was quite annoying to be woken up by a neighbor not my alarm). Suggestion for the hotel: If you put felt on the bottom of the chair legs, about 70% of the noise issue would be fixed!"

"This was a great find , just 8 rooms . We had a junior suite with 2 balconies. The view of the marina and bay were to die for . Falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping 40 mtrs away . The staff are amazing and were so helpful . The hotel has a shuttle bus which is so convenient. Staying in the marina is much better than staying in the town . Great selection of restaurants nearby but book your 9pm slot early ."

"Lovely, friendly staff. We thought the room was generous, with a balcony that caught the morning sun, a comfortable bed and a good shower. We particularly liked relaxing in the plunge jacuzzi pool after trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri and Sorento. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is up a hill, so although it isn't a long walk from the train station, it isn't much fun with a suitcase. The centre of town is close enough to walk to in the evening and is lively, with plenty of restaurants. It would be worth checking the situation with the building site next door before booking. It was mostly quiet during our stay, with just one digger working, so it wasn't much of an issue for us."
