"Nice staff and the room was cleaned everyday but the hotel is more 1 star than 3. At minimum, a hotel should have air conditioning or at least a fan to use, a shower where you don't have to hold the shower head, and a bed that doesn't break. There are more complaints that can be listed but air, a bed, and a functional shower should be bare minimum. However, the staff were really nice. But definitely would avoid this hotel and regret staying in it."

"Another great choice in terms of location, amenities and space. An easy quick walk from the train station and just a lovely property - big beautiful lobby with plenty of space to chill, helpful staff and a small bar/cafe. There’s also a restaurant but we were too busy adventuring to eat there. The room was clean, quiet and comfy. I’m happy to recommend it to others. "

"The hotel is very nice, and perfectly located right across the street form the train station. The dtaff were friendly and the beds were nice. Only complaints i had was the AC wasnt the best and that there is only one place to plug in anything to charge your phone for example. There were no bed side plugs or bathroom plugs, only the coffee maker plug was one that could be used."

"Wonderful stay at Bologna Mercure. Location is very convenient, across the street from the train station for easy access and to drop off bags before heading to main sights in Piazza Maggiore, which is a 20 minute walk away. Room and bathroom are very spacious, and room amenities like slippers, bathrobe, free water and fridge refreshments, including a prosecco, tea/coffee maker are welcome touches. Breakfast is ok, best part of it for me was the juicer, to make fresh fruit/veggie drinks. It was a comfortable stay in a good location."
