Tallinn’s “hipster” neighborhood, that’s what the locals refer to it as, but this is officially called “Telliskivi Creative City”.
Located in a former industrial complex, it’s the creative centre of Tallinn, and the largest creative centre in Estonia, consisting of studios, creative companies, and offices of NGOs. And of course, my favorite part: restaurants & bars built inside of shipping containers, old train cars, & food trucks, etc... 😁

Already during few years Telliskivi (brick in english) Loomelinnak old industrial and railway yard region has been known to be trendy creative vibrant zone of new young Estonian artists. It's a fun place to hang out with open-air restaurants, boutiques, galleries and shopping stalls. Luckily it is only walking distance from old town. #TroveOnTuesday #LikeALocal

#Urbanjungle #tallinn This is Telliskivi Creative City, a very short walk from Tallinn main square, just outside the walls, next to the train station. It’s a former industrial complex with 14 design and nature stores, 8 unique restaurants, and a bakery in the Creative City. The Telliskivi Outdoor Gallery is open round the clock and you can also admire the street art throughout the day.
The Indian restaurant there served the best Indian food I have tasted outside if India!
