There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group. Check in was a little confusing. "This hotel is in a very good location, just across from Kyoto Station, which has many restaurants and shops. It's also next to a shopping mall and only about a 5-minute walk to Aeon Mall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and reception area looked fancy and even had a tea room. When we arrived early, they stored our luggage for free, so we could explore the city before checking in. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices including Western and traditional options, and they also had several options for different dietary needs. There is a laundry facility, massage chairs, and a hot spring bath (onsen) available. Basic toiletries like toothbrushes, shaving supplies, and lotions can be found at the reception that you just pick up. Our room was clean and quiet. The AC worked perfectly. It was a standard size room for Japan, with three single beds. The only minor downside is that the toilet, which is in a separate room, isn't perfectly designed—if you have long legs, your knees might touch the wall. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."
