"We were a little leery because there were no other cars parked at the place and the surrounding motels were hopping. The room was a little weary but the receptionist was lovely. We just wanted a clean, cost effective, safe place to stay and Red Dog Inn delivered. The inn’s restaurant, a Pizza Hut was out of service. If you’re hungry, make sure you check in to Terrace Bay before 8:30 as the restaurants close at 9:00. We found an Esso station next door to the Red Dog Inn that sold sandwiches and wraps and got in under their 10:00 pm closure time."

"It is very clean and very quiet. The rooms are older but well maintained. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere so you have to drive for gas and grub. But that being said, it's a lot nicer than most of the options along that stretch of highway."
