My daughter and I chose Silver Spur because it was very close to 1st Monday Trade Days, and we were very happy with our choice. Our cabin was clean, quiet and accommodated our needs for our overnight stay. Would definitely come back here.

It was just close enough for me to the shopping venue. Everyone there was helpful. Food was very good on site. Cabin was very clean & comfortable. Loved the overall grounds of the property, well kept. I can’t wait to come back to try out their next adventure, ie Tree house cabin & covered wagon cabins. They looked like so much fun.

The property is very nice. Some minor repairs needed and hazards for children ( large screws sticking out of and around play areas, wobbly steps to bunk bed). Check in was less than desirable after a 1200 mile drive with children, we waited about 40 mins total for someone to come check us in- dinner got cold, weren't told about wifi or other amenities.

Nice little cabin. Sparsely decorated. Small k-cup coffeemaker. Not enough creamer and sugar. Would probably want to bring your own food supplies. No place to eat a late breakfast. Mostly Mexican restaurants opening at 11 or shutting off breakfast at 10.

Take everything cause they don’t provide anything

Not very many amenities. Only 2 towels, no hand towels, no wash cloths. Has a microwave but no plates, silverware, cups-not even a paper cup to use to take meds. Bought wine at check-in it again no cups nor a wine opener even though front desk assured us there was. Literally we had 2 beds, tiny table with 2 chairs. No shelves in bathroom or counter. No where to sit a bar of soap because none was provided. SPARSE

The decor was so rustic, lived it. So clean, bed comfortable, heater/fan was great! People friendly! Not enough toilet paper. Night stand lights didn't work. Fan in the bathroom was too loud. Alittle too dark in the cabin.

Will be great once complete

We always like going to Canton & this was our first stay at The Silver Spur Resort. I will say that the resort is not really a resort yet. They have great plan & I think once complete it will be very nice. Right now not much to do & when we stayed the rain had flooded the small pond & walking trails. Restaurant & other things not yet open. We would have just relaxed in our cabin & watched TV but we failed to notice they don’t have TVs in the units, it clearly stated we just missed it. Have never stayed somewhere without a TV so just assumed. Thought we would just stream a movie on our IPad but internet was not strong enough. So go when they have great weather & you can get outside as more amenities. The mattress & sheets are amazing quality & we slept great.

Great place. Just beware some beds are up in lofts and may be difficult to get to (for one people). No internet and no t.v.
