"I stayed here for two nights with my family of three. Excellent choice for the price. Safe and functional, if sparse on design. The room itself seemed relatively new, complete with USB-C ports. The only issue I encountered was the keycard for the tower won’t work for the elevator to get to the gym, so you need to ask staff for access to the gym. Overall highly recommended."

Today, for Día de Reyes, the manager surprised me with a beautiful and delicious mini rosca, which made my stay even more special. "Solar de las Ánimas is an absolutely beautiful and magical hotel. The architecture, atmosphere, and location in Tequila are outstanding, and the overall experience was amazing. Everything about the place feels authentic and special. The only downsides were poor room cleaning, which was inconsistent, and an issue at checkout where they couldn’t return my deposit due to a machine problem, which was inconvenient. Despite this, it’s a wonderful place to stay and I would still recommend it. With better housekeeping and smoother operations, it would be close to perfect."
