I would suggest, using this place before leaving and staying one or two nights. However if your wanting a getaway from everything then this place is perfect and good for kids as well. "

"Our stay The Sands was wonderful. We had high expectations for our long awaited trip to Khao Lak and having already had a week of hectic sightseeing in busy Phuket, we were delighted to arrive to Khao Lak to a relaxing resort but with enough to keep the children entertained. We loved the local area which provided so many options for shopping and eating out. We had a swim up family room which had excellent facilities and was beautifully furnished. I have literally zero complaints! "
