"Only a one night stay before flying out of Bristol Airport. Very welcoming, excellent evening meal, very comfortable room. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast but I’m sure that would have been good too! Very convenient for the airport."

"Such a lovely place! Couldn’t have been any more perfect. The hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The hosts were really helpful and very kindly left us a bottle of Prosecco! The studio was clean and had everything we needed. Such a good location with lots nearby. Would 100% recommend😊"

Our room felt luxurious - it was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a great bed that guaranteed us a perfect night’s sleep. Patricia was a wonderfully welcoming host who made us feel completely at home and truly spoilt us throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with an impressive variety of food served in a spectacular dining room. The entire house is elegant, warm, and stately, filled with interesting art and antiques, yet still homely and inviting. It’s peaceful, beautifully furnished, and perfectly located with amazing walks and stunning scenery right on the doorstep. We couldn’t be happier with our stay - highly recommended."

"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week we had a largish case which you’d struggle to get up the narrow spiral staircase so bear that in mind. If there was some storage for clothing downstairs that would be perfect. Also nowhere to hang wet items if the weather isn’t great. We did try to contact the owners through this site twice but no response and also sent them a message on the number supplied and heard nothing back. We are trying to resolve matters through Sykes Cottages. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would recommend "
