"This is the second time I have stayed at The Strand Palace Hotel. I am a lone traveller and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and the facilities in the room have been well thought out. The choices at breakfast are excellent. I will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend."

"What a lovely place this is. The hotel is just lovely. Really clean and well cared for. The staff were great. No parking so we had to park an Uber ride away but not a huge problem once we found the parking garage. Our room was tiny! A bit too small and very hot. It took us ages to get the aircon to work. We couldn’t have the windows open because the aircon units were directly below the window and very noisy. However, we eventually got it working. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable, And, the shower was amazing. 😻 Something, not sure what, the kettle we think set off the smoke alarm but we managed to sort it out. A member of staff came directly she heard it but there was nothing she could have done. All in all a very comfortable stay. We’d deffo stay again just not in the same room. Very easy for Canary Wharf and eXcel. "

"Nice hotel, comfy room, good location but a walk from the nearest tube. VERY busy and crowded in reception. Half of reception was boarded off as doung some renovation. "

"Have stayed at this hotel approx 6 times. It’s gradually gone down hill. The lifts are constantly breaking down and when you have 39 floors you can be waiting ages for one to stop on your floor. Pool is nice but poolside shower wasn’t working in December and still not fixed April. Staff joke about the lifts but two of our party got stuck in the lift twice over a weekend stay. Of course the city views from some rooms and the roof top bar are stunning but sadly company has not invested in keeping this hotel 4 stars."

"The hotel & room were lovely, as were the staff. Only small gripes would be not having a plug socket on my side of the bed, and the aircon turning itself off/resetting itself to 22c."
