โGreat location for a visit to family. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small, but really just right for a visit, good storage and lighting. Very close to the railroad tracks, but I never heard a thing. The restaurant was opening the day after I left so I canโt comment but I did see the space and itโs just beautiful. The restaurant still managed to serve breakfast and that worked out just fine. I strongly recommend Voco Astoria. โ
โAt first, the room was prepared for someone else, room service drink did not come as ordered, the cafe had terrible wait on the food(both breakfast and lunch), and no apologies from the staff. The individual components are good but the service connection needs major improvements.โ
โThis is an iconic hotel in nyc so I had high expectations. The hotel was nice in general, but it took an hour to change my room (bellman didn't show up for an hour) and front desk hung up on my phone call ( I heard they were very busy due to many check-ins ). I don't expect this kind of service for the five star hotel with exceptionally high rate.โ

โI read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. โ
"Everything was awesome and very satisfactory. Servic, convenience and room service were all great. One thing wistful was way of showerhead which was not easy to use. I think manual to use it properly is needed.
Everything except that was wonderful."
"It was a place where you could taste various breads and friendly staff. It was great because it was close to the subway and not too far from Manhattan."
