“Great location for a visit to family. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small, but really just right for a visit, good storage and lighting. Very close to the railroad tracks, but I never heard a thing. The restaurant was opening the day after I left so I can’t comment but I did see the space and it’s just beautiful. The restaurant still managed to serve breakfast and that worked out just fine. I strongly recommend Voco Astoria. ”

“The hotel is very clean and new. The room is large. Everything satisfied. To be honest, I was worried that the place around the hotel looked a little bit dangerous before I visited. But, the location of the hotel is very nice, not dangerous, close to the subway station (both Queensboro plaza, and Queens plaza). It took just a few minutes to reach Manhattan, Flushing, and JFK airport. Everybody including hotel staffs was very kind. If I visit NYC again, I will stay at this hotel again. ”

It wasn't difficult, just wasn't expecting it and had to complete when we got to the hotel. Staff on site was extremely helpful and everyone was also very friendly.
