This hotel is as described and is recently refurbished, clean and well located for mid-town. Coffee and croissants are a bonus too. It’s a great place if you need a good base from which to explore NY. But be aware that the rooms are tiny so if you’re looking to spend a lot of time in your room, you’ll need to spend more money on somewhere larger.

Friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast, cute neighborhood, safe and walkable near transportation. Water pressure low and not always hot, our room didn't have anywhere to place luggage but floor with no racks available. Floor was a little dirty. Would stay again and worth the money.

Conveniently located. The only thing affordable in the area. It was tiny. The muffins and coffee were great but needed them earlier than 7:30. Most places start breakfast around 6:00 am, especially in the city that never sleeps.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the location was convenient. But the room layout was not comfortable for an older person. You had to climb up on a platform to get into the bed, and the backless stool was not comfortable to sit on. Also there wasn't enough shelf/drawer space to store clothing.

I loved Little Charlie. It honestly far exceeded my expectations. Extremely clean, cute & efficient little rooms. A nice continental breakfast spread in the morning with fruits, pastries, OK. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. A good little lobby area with a bathroom that i used as a home base for a few hours after checking out.

The location of this hotel is great for commuting to anywhere in the city. Grand Central Station is an easy 7 minute walk. Staff was friendly and access was easy. Downside is the street noise level throughout the night, particularly on weekends. Rooms are NYC small with beds touching 3 walls. Nice rooftop space and pleasing continental breakfast. I would not stay here again for the price we paid ($500ish/night) but would so for less money. Clean, conveniently located hotel but not worth the price.

We loved our stay at The Little Charlie! The rooms are a perfect size especially if you’re out in the city all day! Me and my fiance fit comfortably in the room because there was plenty of space for under the bed and size bed storage. The rooms were very clean and the AC worked great too. The location was great as well. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was in a great location, which allowed us to walk to a lot of sites we had on our list. It is sandwiched between a grocery store and a 24 hour deli which is perfect for us because we like grabbing quick breakfasts to-go and are late night snackers. The room was quite small, practically the width of the bed, which was not much of a surprise since it's in a prime location in the city. It did not bother us because we were out for most of the day and our trip was relatively short (3.5 days). But I could see how this room may feel a little claustrophobic with a longer trip or if we were to stay in the hotel for long periods of time. The hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean and despite being small, there was adequate storage space for our luggage and hooks to hang our large jackets. The hotel was quiet, we hardly heard any neighbors and outside street noise was muffled. We would definitely book this location again for our next NYC trip!

The room was small, but it served its purpose as an intimate room to sleep and shower. It was located in a place that was close to many popular attractions, like Times Square. The staff was really helpful; the breakfast was small, but it was a good grab-and-go start to the day.
