โGreat customer service, spacious room that was spottless.
However, the pool's water was green and this was the dirtiest pool we've ever seen.
Morning complimentary breakfast was sparse, by 7am the juices were depleted and would not be refilled as we were told they were out of juice.โ
โAlaska Inn looks like a rustic log cabin from the outside, but the room was beautiful and modern! The bathtub was a jacuzzi, which is amazing! The grounds were beautiful, with a stream rushing by out back. Breakfast? So many amazing choices, and delivered to your room! I can't wait to go back!โ
โWe had a wonderful stay at Compass Rose Lodge. Itโs clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curatedโfrom the mint truffles on the bed to the excellent coffee and sandwiches available on-site.
One of the highlights was the observatory tour. It wasnโt just a peek at the stars; it included a brief tour of the property and its rich history, including a scale model of the solar system with the sun right there on the grounds! โSuprised by clean, cozy, modern room. More surprised by the breakfast which is real high quality. Two downside is sofa bed is not that comfortable (maybe small for family) and dining space is small.โ
โWe had a great stay. The only issue is that the freeway is right next to the property and is quite noisy. You may want to ask the front desk for earplugs- hopefully you get the friendliest service you could ask for from Abby. She was incredible and did everything she could to ensure that we were comfortable. โ
