Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Cabana Bay Beach Resort has everything you need — except floats for the lazy river, so make sure to bring your own! They do have an air station near the lazy river entrance where you can inflate them yourself, which was super convenient. The resort truly has so much to offer. We stayed for 2 nights, and honestly, it still wasn’t enough time to experience everything. We would definitely come back again in the future. We ate at the grill restaurant near the bar, which was conveniently located close to our room. The food was delicious with great Mexican flavor, the kids loved it, and the portions were large enough to feed 2–3 people. The kids had an amazing time at the lazy river, the large pool, and even the slide. Housekeeping also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay with our 4 kids and would absolutely recommend it to other families!"

"Okay resort, would say it’s more of a 3 star than a 4 star. Checked in at 10pm and it was still a 30 min wait. Carpets in the hallways smell really bad and the resort is just very confusing in general. Not many elevators for such large buildings which made the wait long, usually 10 min wait to be able to get on. Not many food options either for such a large resort and all of them close early. Rooms were dusty, washing machine had mold inside and dishwasher smelled. Crowd was a little rambunctious, while we were there there was a fight at the waterpark where cops had to be called. I’d say ok for a short stay but not sure if it’s a good place to stay for more than a few days."

"Parking was a nightmare! Valet was full. Pick up and drop off was very unorganized. Especially with an apparent "gaming" convention close by. Parking next door at Truist took 30 minutes to find the entrance as there are only one way streets all around. 2nd floor view was a concrete wall! Thankfully they moved us up to the 21st after asking. Pool was very large and very nice! Probably the only reason to go back for me. Hot tub only holds 4 people."

"Amazing location, great service, the hotel itself is beautiful. We got the king bed room, the bed was comfy and the room was still dark in the morning so it was so nice we got to sleep in. However the room was super tiny but that didn’t really bothered us. The concierge was really helpful. The bar at the hotel was oir favorite from all, and the restaurant is also really good, we had breakfast there and it was great! Super recommend"

"We had an amazing time there. Staff was helpful and friendly! We were several hours early and they let us check in around 11am even though check in time was 3pm. We were able to keep our car there in their private underground parking garage as soon as we arrived which was around 6am as we explored the city and got breakfast for a few hours. Overnight parking there was $45. The pool, gym, and lobby was well kept, clean, and organized. The room was clean, and spacious. They greeted us when entering and leaving the hotel and were overall just a pleasant group of people who tried to make our stay comfortable and inviting. The location was nice as well, and within walking distance to all the major sites. We would definitely go back again!"
