"The property was clean and nice. They did leave my door unlocked and propped open when cleaning. Thank God nothing was taken. I did have an issue with how they handled the situation. They did offer 3 free drink tickets but I do not drink really. Used one and asked if they could maybe just comp the $16 dollar pizza I had ordered. They did not. Also, I had to email to have the drink removed because it was charged to me. Not a huge deal I just did not like that. It’s not a cheap resort to stay at. They could have handled the situation better in my opinion."
The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"The Island had everything we had hoped for when booking. Yes there are "extra" fees for parking, resort fee, beach chair/umbrella rental etc but most oceanfront properties had the same. I booked here because I wanted an experience, not just a place to sleep. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. It's an older resort, but our room was modern and comfortable. The multitude of swimming pools was nice. Overall the vibe was definitely an Island one. If you're on a strict budget, do your homework on the extra fees. I was fully aware ahead of time so wasn't shocked. The breakfast option is definitely worth the money. The beach is exquisite and very clean. I highly recommend this resort and will stay here again.Joanha in the gift shop is a true gem also...loved her spirit and lively attitude. The wristlet room key...FINALLY a key i could keep up with. Fabulous idea."

The Westin Atlanta Airport

"Stuck in Atlanta due to a Delta flight delay causing us to miss our connecting flight to Barcelona, we booked the Westin to be close to the airport so we could get rebooked. Booked it for the pool and lobby area. Bar drinks were excessively expensive at $20+ a drink. Shuttle was a fantastic amenity. Beds were super comfortable and room was clean, quiet and cool. Great place to recoup and try to salvage our delta flight issues. Epic fail on Delta’s part but good on Marriott. Point off for costs and quality of food. Everything else was great."

"I’ve stayed here before and will continue to when I visit Florida. Some recommendations I have are the pillows definitely could use an upgrade definitely feel like they were a little worn out and deflated. I feel like you shouldn’t charge someone to float down the lazy river this should be included in the cost of staying maybe put a hold on a card if you want the floaties back and if you don’t get them then charge the guest but if it’s returned then the guest shouldn’t be charged. Love the transportation to universal and it’s a short walk as well. The $300 dining credit was a huge incentive. Only main issue I had was when I called for towels I had to call again and almost wait 2 hours to get them that was really only the main issue I had this time around. Hopefully you all read this review and it wasn’t a waste of my time as my next trip down we will most likely be staying here again and hope to see some of my suggestions implemented."
