"Plenty of parking
Clean - no bugs
Goes downhill from there.
Front desk people were polite but far from friendly.
Major renovations need to be done before I will come back. Windows did not lock, which my husband discovered as we were getting ready for bed. He decided that they were too small for anyone to crawl through, but not a comforting feeling.
Pool - closes at 5pm on Sunday - we arrived at 5:10 😳
Hot tub - closed for cleaning on Monday until 1pm, but check out is at 11am
So I have no idea what the condition is of either, but I cannot imagine that they are in great shape. I should have known that 2 pools and a hot tub for that price was too good to be true

"For the price this isn’t a bad place, but I wouldn’t say I’d go out of my way to come back. Firstly, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom anywhere which was remediated very quickly, but really displays their lack of attention to details. Secondly, and more importantly, there was no seal on my door meaning the cold air from outside very easily seeped into the room. I’m so glad it wasn’t colder, because the heating unit was so loud I had to turn it off so it wouldn’t wake me up every time it kicked on (and mind you I usually never wake up when my ac unit kicks on), and by the time I woke up it was quite chilly in the room but thankfully not freezing. The lack of seal also meant I could hear every road noise which there was a lot of. If it was summer I probably wouldn’t mind so much, maybe even early fall, but winter I would avoid unless you want to shove towels around your door.
The staff member who was there was incredibly kind, the parking situation was good, and there are a lot of signs about pets (no cats) so it seems dog friendly at least. "
"If you love retro/vintage/history/ quiet and pet friendly this place is wonderful for a short stay and lowkey weekend. So many cool local businesses and delicious food. We went for a show at the stone church- walking distance from hotel! And everything we could have needed was easily accessible. They have a bar downstairs and a movie theatre in the hotel! All rooms have record players and vinyls to play with more available. Big rooms. “Dated” but it’s keeping with the retro style- very clean and neat. Only negatives were the parking lot (really small but we got a spot! There’s plenty of on street parking and a nearby parking garage as well). Staff was so friendly and helpful!
This would be a great “staycation” or mom night away as well. Stop at some of the amazing thrift/vintage/2nd hand stores for books, music, clothes and more. If you’re a crafter, Bobbins’and Skeins and Beadnik are great places to take a look at. I’d definitely come back!"
"Breakfast was great and location is perfect. Lots of good restaurants and bars to visit. Rooms are nice, but slightly dated, and the building is very cool."
