โStaff were friendly and excellent and location is what we expected and room and comfort was very good.
The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? Also There were no BRANDY in the evening on Saturday around 9pm?โ
โA wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. โ
โA fabulous stay in this lovely country inn in a quiet village on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside and the Norfolk Broads. A wonderful welcome from Mark and his team. Nothing was too much trouble and the lovely breakfasts set you up for the day. Great sized comfortable en-suite room. The pub is at the heart of the village community and is excellent value for money.โ
โGreat second stay at Oaklands. Had a few wifi issues which caused some disruption for me as i was there for business, but apart from that the experience was everything i needed it to be. Looking forward to the third stay next month.โ
โSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.โ
โLovely food, great service. Room was clean, thankfully had a fan in the room as it was such a hot day/night. Very quiet in the respect of pub noise, couldn't be heard. Unfortunately there is a very noisy extractor fan, but that did get turned off at around 10.30. But it was back on at 6.30 this morning. Breakfast was really nice. Little water bottles in the room nice touch, but cold ones would be better. Perfect poached eggs.โ
โThis beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.โ
โSpacious, well equipped rooms. Good selection of options on Restaurant menu. Also great value for money.
Only slight negative was the bed was quite hard compared to our preferences and the pillows were too thin providing limited support for a side sleeper. โ
