โStaff were extremely helpful and welcoming, food was superb , loved the room we stayed in with plenty of space to move about and cosy in the same time โ
โThe room was clean and comfortable, not at all noisy. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The team at the Four Horseshoes were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too, large portions and a big pot of tea. We had a really relaxing break.โ

โMy stay was lovely and peaceful, after my working day had finished. (It was not a holiday break) unfortunately. The surroundings were fantastic, I felt really chilled after work.

The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? Also There were no BRANDY in the evening on Saturday around 9pm?โ
โWe stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. โ
โA wonderfully quirky cottage, but with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; some of the comfiest beds I've slept in; big sofas for lounging on and a landlord who's quick to reply to questions. Ideal for a family - bedrooms are adjoining. Thoroughly recommended. โ
โGreat location for a last minute trip to the Suffolk Coast! Few minutes drive from Southwold. Very spacious and clean family room with a nice breakfast included. All staff we met were helpful and friendly. Would recommend. โ
โSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.โ
