"Off all the chain hotels we stayed in in Japan, this is our favorite, so much so that we plan to look for Daiwa hotels now when we book for future trips. Nice big lobby, bilingual staff, easy check in/out with automation, nice rooms, modern and larger bathroom. Everything seemed upgrade level. Definitely enjoyed staying there and it was near the station with lots of eateries to choose from."

"The hotel is in a great location with lots of dining options nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide a full range of amenities, daily housekeeping service, and a convenience store on the ground level. The parking was a bit inconvenient as it’s a car elevator that requires the staff to assist each time you want to leave or return, but they are always happy to help; 24 hrs a day. "Large room and close to all sightseeing within walking distance"

"Property should consider at least an english channel for non-japanese speaking guests or maybe Youtube app like the one at Daiwa Roynet Yamagata. TV is not smart TV so we can't mirror cast and we have to end up using ipad to watch our shows."

"Good size hotel room but too far from the Akita Station to walk. However the taxi was easy to catch and cost less than 1,000 Yen; if traffic is good, the meter does not even jump and remains at 690 Yen."
