"I can not recommend this hotel. We stayed for 1 night after our Nile cruise before we went back to Luxor. The rooms were in bad repair with peeling walls and bathroom repairs needed. It looked nothing like the picture from booking. Some of the staff were very friendly and deserve credit but several staff members were unfriendly and almost rude, as though we were burdening them by being there. The location is good if you prefer to stay on the mainland, but I would not stay here for an extended period."

"A great location inn the middle of the Nile a 2 minute boat ride from the main waterside street. Watching the feluccas and water traffic away from the city noise was relaxing."

"The hotel staff are amazing. We were upgraded on arrival and the room view and location were excellent. The breakfast buffet was huge and fantastic. But here’s the problem with this hotel. It’s old. It needs a proper refurbishment. The decor looks like it’s from the 1990s and that’s why I think it’s overpriced. It’s more of a 4 star hotel than a 5. "
