"We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the quiet, tranquil location. The staff and service was outstanding, everyone was eager to help. The spa facility was exceptional, particularly Zeinab provided an amazing and relaxing experience. The rooms are large and we had a cold jacuzzi which was very nice in the hot weather. The buffet breakfast was delicious. "
"The hotel was nice and staff were so kind. What the hotel doesn’t have any shadow they couldn’t provide me any shadow and I had to pay from the airport to the hotel and hotel to the airport."
"The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The area in front of the hotel is beside the river. There was some construction happening on the the building that was a little inconvenient at the entrance, but the room was great! Cold air conditioning, comfortable beds ample sized room with beautiful view of the Nile and boats out the window."

Unfinished Obelisk is just one of the places to see in Aswan, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Wander the riverfront and gardens in the area.
Aswan does not have Uber, at least when we visited in Feb 2025. Taxis rip you off, but you can try an app called inDrive (where you can bid on your ride) or Careem. Aswan the town is very beautiful - do visit Old Souk, Aswan Dam, and Isis Temple

Fewer hawkers chasing us than other Egyptian cities which made our experience all that more pleasant.

Good
There are a lot of people desperate for work and wouldn't take no for an answer. It was kind of a turn off to the area.

"This property was exactly what I needed. It was private and quiet. The chef prepared the food I needed which brought me joy. The staff and management were great and the cleaning staff were awesome! Grateful for Ali and Ismail for assisting me and my husband in enjoying our stay!"
"The hotel is beautiful and has amazing views and amenities. The staff is amazing specially the concierge Mustafa who took care of us, picked us up personally at the boat and helped us with our cruise and tours. Best services, knowledge and efficiency.
You should also visit his store to shop for oils and herbs."
