"Stayed the 6th of December 2025 for a weekend. Great & safe place as a female traveler. Beds were very comfy, rooms & bathrooms were sufficient. Robes & slippers & eye mask & all the extras were a nice touch, including free tampons in restroom. Price was excellent. Within walking distance of everything. We covered 15 miles in 2 days! Lots of restaurants within walking distance & open late. Felt very safe out, but I was with my husband. I was on the 3rd floor, he was on the 4th. I booked him months ahead. I unexpectedly was able to have the weekend off & booked myself at now now as well. No regrets! I slept well, temperature was a little warm for us but a fan is helpful to travel with. I did hear doors Opening & shutting but it's expected especially if you need to use the restroom. Everyone including guests were very friendly and respectful. They had security outside the doors, its very safe. No issues except guests who do not follow the rules. Headphones not used (maybe offer ear buds for purchase at front desk while going over the rules) & talking on the phone at 2am, ridiculously rude. Im assuming it was a language barrier as maybe they dont understand the rules at check in possibly. I did message front desk & unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Wear earplugs, some people are plain rude and just refuse to follow rules, there's always one. Definitely worth staying & id stay again."

"Property is an older building. Super clean, close proximity to subway and Little Italy and China town around the block. Quite a few places to eat and small grocery stores around the corner. Housekeeping did a great job. Front desk staff were wonderful! I dropped my necklace the last day we were there and didn’t realize til we were home in Texas that it was missing. Housekeeping had found it and turned it in. It was kept safe with the front desk and I send a fed ex envelope and they returned it to me. The necklace was a Mother’s Day gift so very sentimental to me and I am forever grateful for everyone who helped get it back to me! My stay was December 10-14. We would most definitely stay again. "

"Maravillosa estadía familiar en el Moxy NYC East Village! El hotel nos proporcionó todo lo que necesitábamos para pasar en familia un fin de año espectacular. En la recepción nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad; la habitación, aunque pequeña, muy bien distribuida y limpia. Todas las mañanas desayunábamos en el Cafe D'Avignon donde Kiara, Issy, Yesi y Jonath no podían ser mas amables, profesionales y solicitas. La noche de Fin de Año cenamos en el hermoso restaurante del hotel, el "Cathedral", y disfrutamos de una cena de primera, a 3 platos, con DJ, brindis, bailarinas y muchas sorpresas. El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, lo cual nos permitió pasear y conocer la bonita area que lo rodea. Como viajamos con nuestros hijos adultos, el Alphabet Bar (que en el día era el Cafe D'Avignon), The Ready Cantina con su maravilloso rooftop y buena musica, y la cercanía con Little Sister hicieron que en un solo hotel, coexistieran ambientes variados, acogedores y muy bien decorados. Definitivamente volveremos a quedarnos en el Moxy East Village en nuestra próxima estadía en NYC! "
