We love the immersive experience of this hotel. We stay here every time we visit our son who lives in the neighborhood and now it feels like ours. The staff is wonderful! Some of the rooms could use some updates. It’s a really old building, so that has to be expected. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops around. The walls, windows, and doors do not block out a lot of sound, but that is expected for NYC. You could easily hear the street and other guests, bring earplugs (they supplied some also). The towels were very low quality and each person only gets one per night, so plan for that. There is a strange smell in the entry way but the room smelled fine. The bed was comfy overall. I'd stay here again since it's close to our friends house for a great price.

Clean room, spacious for NYC and a very good deal. Great location, near Sub and Bus stations. Great neighborhood. Handy kitchenette, read Amenities carefully- do not go by the pictures. I read reviews that complained about noise-- heads up, if you want a quiet room, go to the mountains. Every place in NYC is noisy. Yes, it is noisy- bring a white noise machine or use the furnished ear plugs. Will definitely stay here again.

Our daughter is at NYU so it was a great location. It is a little more work with no lobby and being able to leave your bags but we paid a great price.
