Check-in went well, our room was clean enough despite the unsightly stain on the chair, and the breakfast staff were very hospitable. However, I realized that they authorized the room on my card twice, not just a hold for incidentals, but the entire stay was double authorized, tying up funds we needed later on our trip. I asked the manager about it at checkout and he thought it was funny for some reason and tried to blame it on American Express. Overall not a bad stay but prepare to pay twice, and for hostility from management if you ask about it.
