The community areas were also really great, clean, and easily accessible. There was a walking trail within just a few feet of the campground. I traveled solo and felt really safe. I accidentally dropped my room key along with my credit card into the drop box on my check out date and owner called me within 10 min to tell me this. “The lady at check out does have a chip on her shoulder. She did give me a room that had a working tv due to the one I was assigned not working. The room was very old and tattered offering the bare minimum. I didn’t spend very much time in the room due to it being depressing. Went out and explored what Ventura had to offer on a Monday, came back and slept for the night, on top of my sleeping bag. Heard the bed bugs were bad. If you want a budget place to sleep near downtown it could be good. But...
