The place is very literally falling apart. It’s mouldy, the bathtub siding is coming off, there’s water damage in every room, the bathroom fan doesn’t work, the shower knob is so broken that it just spins around and you have to struggle to get the water to turn on. We were scared it might just fall off. There’s pieces of vanity siding in the bathroom missing from water damage. This place needs to be gutted or torn down. I can’t understand why it’s got 4 stars. It makes zero sense. The fact that there weren’t bugs feels like a win.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made a genuine effort to accommodate my needs throughout my stay. The views from my room were breathtaking, and the furnishings and décor were both stylish and thoughtfully chosen. Having a kitchen was a huge advantage, and it was very well equipped, which made the stay even more convenient and comfortable. Housekeeping also went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They were always happy to provide extra toilet rolls or towels upon request—even during late hours. The housekeeping team in particular deserves special recognition for their dedication and outstanding service. I would highly recommend the Waterside Inn in Port Credit to anyone visiting the area. Finally, the hotel is in a fantastic location. Close to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Great overnight stay. Looks like off season pricing so amazing value. Clean if slightly dated building and furnishings. Comfy firm bed and well equipped suite for extended stay. Lots of Port Credit restaurants etc working 500 meters. Great views of the harbour. Just what I needed for my time in Oakville.

Staff is snooty and generally unwelcoming and the hotel is really only just on a few floors and the rest of a high-rise apartment complex. There is absolutely no view from the rooms despite the name. The windows are definitely not sound proof - you can hear the road noise, the locals squabbling, and every single sound from the main street. The water was lukewarm at best and there excuse was building maintenance, but if they knew this was an issue, why allow guests? The room was nice, but the TV insanely small for the distance from any viewing distance. It was inexpensive, so that's the trade-off I suppose. Mississauga is not interesting at all: think The Bronx minus the allure. We did find some nice restaurants, and the waterfront was nice, but the hotel not worth writing home about.

The room I stayed in needed a lot of fixing up. The dishwasher didn’t work, the heat couldn’t be adjusted (it was like a sauna in there) and I was looking forward to a nice hot shower and it was luke warm at best. The staff was amazing!!! I didn’t get a chance to check out the amenities. No restaurant on site but so many good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the inn. I will definitely be coming back in the summer for the live music.
